I use the diagnostic criteria of C-PTSD as a framework to understand the embodied experience of the neurodivergent, shaped by the combined forces of racialized ‘cannibal’ capitalism, heteropatriarchy, White Supremacy, ableism, and neuronormativity, and existing all alongside the ecological and existential pressures of the Anthropocene. This has resulted in widespread chronic dysregulation of individual and collective bodyminds. By integrating the neurodiversity paradigm, disability justice, and immanental and mystical theologies, I propose that trauma is not merely an individual psychological event but a systemic, relational, and spiritual crisis that restructures the very conditions of human life. Within this framework, neurodivergent and disabled embodiments—particularly late diagnosed autistic bodyminds assigned female at birth (AFAB) embodiments—serve not as pathologies but as diagnostic (this is what will happen with no intervention) and prophetic (this is what intervention can be) resources, that illuminate the depth of societal trauma and the possibilities for its transformation. I argue that healing requires a theological reorientation toward relationality, embodiment, and divine immanence, through which communities, and especially Unitarian Universalist congregations, can be reimagined as trauma healing collectives capable of metabolizing grief, restoring relational ecologies, and fostering collective liberation."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/downloads/383a0c52-3b9c-496e-85d8-cdc903e12104?file=thumbnail","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["admin_set/default-default-approving","admin_set/default-default-depositing","admin_set/default-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_ids_ssim":["383a0c52-3b9c-496e-85d8-cdc903e12104"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Master of Arts Theses"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["21727450-b09e-49df-a1b3-3fc1ae01cce1"],"file_set_ids_ssim":["383a0c52-3b9c-496e-85d8-cdc903e12104"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Default Admin Set"],"account_cname_tesim":["meadville.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["jdechant@meadville.edu"],"_version_":1867446415765012480,"timestamp":"2026-06-08T16:21:23.980Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2026-05-29T14:24:58Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2026-05-29T14:25:32Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"8ca2433c-d976-41e8-b6a4-fcc75f5e9242","accessControl_ssim":["cc602d47-fd91-4098-a29d-f013e7e92038"],"hasRelatedMediaFragment_ssim":["1914e613-fdfc-40db-bd87-b18620e9642f"],"hasRelatedImage_ssim":["1914e613-fdfc-40db-bd87-b18620e9642f"],"depositor_ssim":["jdechant@meadville.edu"],"depositor_tesim":["jdechant@meadville.edu"],"title_tesim":["The Support Triad: Using Agriculture and Liberal Spiritual Direction for Improved Outcomes from Carceral Peer Support"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2026-05-29T14:24:58Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2026-05-29T14:25:28Z","isPartOf_ssim":["admin_set/default"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["3d10d4cf-72af-4428-80f3-385e10ab975c"],"hasLease_ssim":["473e061b-8705-458d-b0f6-70f6b054dc79"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Meadville Lombard Theological School"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Meadville Lombard Theological School"],"year_tesim":["2026"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. This project argues that the use of a combination of effective reentry techniques will increase the efficacy of the demonstrated success of these efforts used separately. This research proposes an integrated support triad that brings together three evidence-based practices: peer support, pluralistic spiritual development, and agricultural therapy. Each of these approaches has demonstrated effectiveness when implemented independently, yet each also exhibits limitations. This model positions peer support workers, particularly those with lived experience of incarceration, as facilitators of spiritual development within an ecological, land-based context. In doing so, it offers a holistic, relational, and regenerative framework for reentry that aligns with emerging research on health, wellbeing, and desistance. The work outlines the rationale for this integration, examines the evidence supporting each component, and articulates how their combination can more effectively promote resilience, permit redemption, and support long-term flourishing and desistance."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/downloads/1914e613-fdfc-40db-bd87-b18620e9642f?file=thumbnail","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["admin_set/default-default-approving","admin_set/default-default-depositing","admin_set/default-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_ids_ssim":["1914e613-fdfc-40db-bd87-b18620e9642f"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Doctor of Ministry Dissertations and Projects"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["061a0024-1d62-4dba-b274-091512484660"],"file_set_ids_ssim":["1914e613-fdfc-40db-bd87-b18620e9642f"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Default Admin Set"],"account_cname_tesim":["meadville.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["jdechant@meadville.edu"],"_version_":1866533185316192256,"timestamp":"2026-05-29T14:25:59.556Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2026-05-06T14:23:58Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2026-05-06T14:32:11Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"88ce8d40-6ea5-45f6-8171-2fef31eef1ed","accessControl_ssim":["9dada05b-4782-4f64-84c8-6789cbb96bba"],"hasRelatedMediaFragment_ssim":["82d2d638-76dd-4960-8aba-9108b4bef497"],"hasRelatedImage_ssim":["82d2d638-76dd-4960-8aba-9108b4bef497"],"depositor_ssim":["jdechant@meadville.edu"],"depositor_tesim":["jdechant@meadville.edu"],"title_tesim":["Loving-Kindness Leadership: A New Paradigm for Personal and Global Transformation"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2026-05-06T14:23:55Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2026-05-06T14:32:11Z","isPartOf_ssim":["admin_set/default"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["40597434-6ed1-48de-a25b-871018a7dc2d"],"hasLease_ssim":["f92bae67-2616-4eae-b11b-a8147b1486b9"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Meadville Lombard Theological School"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Meadville Lombard Theological School"],"year_tesim":["2026"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. The project addresses a recurring ministry and leadership problem: a gap between leaders’ professed moral and spiritual commitments—such as care, dignity, and justice—and the operational practices that shape organizational life, often resulting in relational harm, burnout, and diminished trust. Employing a Practical Theological Method grounded in an iterative praxis cycle, the project engages lived leadership experience, critically reflects on the spiritual traditions of Metta, Agápē, Chesed, and Ubuntu, and integrates interdisciplinary insights from psychology, neuroscience, and organizational studies. The findings reveal that loving-kindness is not a passive or sentimental posture, but rather a disciplined, boundary-honoring leadership ethic that requires clarity, accountability, and just structures. To support implementation, the project offers an original Operating Model incorporating Four Levels of Leadership (Self, Others, Leaders, and Organizations) and seven core Loving-Kindness Leadership Practices. The project demonstrates that when loving-kindness is operationalized, it bridges belief and practice, fostering relational safety, ethical presence, and durable human and organizational flourishing."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/downloads/82d2d638-76dd-4960-8aba-9108b4bef497?file=thumbnail","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["admin_set/default-default-approving","admin_set/default-default-depositing","admin_set/default-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_ids_ssim":["82d2d638-76dd-4960-8aba-9108b4bef497"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Doctor of Ministry Dissertations and Projects"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["061a0024-1d62-4dba-b274-091512484660"],"file_set_ids_ssim":["82d2d638-76dd-4960-8aba-9108b4bef497"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Default Admin Set"],"account_cname_tesim":["meadville.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["jdechant@meadville.edu"],"_version_":1864449847838375936,"timestamp":"2026-05-06T14:32:14.111Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"D.Min.
